Here are two important reminders:

Key Dates

Further to our Notice of 19 January 2024, please find below 1) the key dates and 2) the essential tasks each Member Association must complete as soon as possible.

– Friday 5 January – Deadline for proposals.

– Wednesday 31 Jan – Subscriptions 2024 due.

– Friday 8 March – Notice of the AGM / agenda.

– Friday 22 March – Deadline for amendments.

– Thursday 25 April – Welcome Dinner

– Friday 26 April – BWF Members’ Forum 2024

– Saturday 27 April – 85^th BWF AGM

Your Tasks

Decide who your delegate (s) will be.
Ask your delegate to check their expiry date of their passport – they will need at least 6 months validity from the date of travel.
Complete the Delegate Nomination Form (see our AGM page) and send to Patricia [email protected] no later than Friday 23 February.
Complete the Visa Support Forum (see our AGM page) and send the completed form AND a copy of the main page of the passports of people seeking a visa for China to Patricia [email protected] no later than Friday 23 February.
Check early for flight options for your delegate. Transport will be provided from these airports to the Holiday Inn and back to the airport:
- Shuangliu International Airport (CTU)
- Tianfu International Airport (TFU)

Check whether your Continental Confederation will host its AGM in Chengdu on Thursday 25 April (the day before the Members’ Forum). Then you know which days to check in / check out of the official BWF host hotel.
Delegates – book your flight based on the meeting plan.
Once you have booked you flights you will need to tell us your flight arrival time / departure time and flight number. We will send an arrival / departure form to complete.
After the AGM, BWF will send a travel grant for one (1) delegate for each Member in Good Standing who attended the Forum and AGM 2024. Information on the travel grant to support Members will be sent in February.

The AGM page of the BWF website will be updated regularly as plans are announced.

Subscriptions – Deadline in 2 Days – Members Not Paid Yet

Subscriptions for 2024 are due no later than midnight KL time on Wednesday 31 January 2024.

Please note that players cannot be entered into competitions after 31 January 2024 if the subscription is not paid by the deadline (Clause 26.6 of the BWF constitution).

On Friday 2 February, BWF will bar an non-financial Members from entering players into BWF sanctioned tournaments until the subscription 2024 is paid.

As of 1700 today, BWF has not received the subscription 2024 from these Member Associations.
