Please find enclosed a notice on a change in the policy related to exemptions from withdrawal fees – effective today.
COVID-19 related Tournament Withdrawals
As of 29th January 2024, BWF will no longer consider COVID-19 as a valid reason for a player to be eligible for an exemption from withdrawal fees. This is in line with the decision to remove the COVID-19 specific competition regulations on 30th June 2023.
